Shouldn’t be a surprise looking at the surges elsewhere
The key is how Omicron transfers to hospitalisations – should get more solid data coming in from the UK over the next week or two on that
Hopefully I’ll get my turn in the queue for my booster come February/March… Then in another few months booster number 2, then 3, then 4, then 5 etc. I assume this is going to be our one trick pony governments strategy for the foreseeable? Boosters, allow a couple of months of minimum restrictions, more restrictions, another booster… And around and around we go!
Ireland’s “world-beating vaccine programme”
Beating who?
Not an ideal thing to be chest beating about considering most of the world still waiting on a first dose.
It’s beginning to look a lot like lockdown, everywhere you go 🎶
Leo with his characteristic Christmas cheer.
Theres only one way to end this and that is to ignore it completely, people dont want their lives ruined because a few old people die of a cough in the winter
How are rhey predicting this? Are rhey just guessing or is fhe HSE giving them projections.
Hopefully the hospitalisations and death rate are as low as some have suggested they might be, because if they are then there’s a lot less to worry about.
