disappointed that the priority wasnt the elimination of connections below 6 Mbits/second
Those people can barely use Youtube at 144p
The sad part is people don’t really understand the difference. My town is, among others in my area, doing an initiative to get fiber to the home installed. We need 33% of the buildings to sign up. I think this isn’t possible. It sits at 10%. I’m hoping after the holidays people might start signing up but I doubt it. I though all the HO would get people to realize infrastructure like this is important but I guess not.
They are making a distinction at 50M here. But there’s a legal distinction for ‘Breitband’ at 30M. This makes this diagram somewhat useless.
Internet has no speed in Germany and its expensive.
I only see 4G on my phone when i travel back in my country.
And home internet sucks big time and its expensive.
“Percentage of people who use it”
Yeah I totally WOULD use it if there was at least an option to get better internet here in my village?? Very infuriating..
One day the Telekom backbone monopoly will end in a bang with starlink. Right now it’s expensive, but I’m sure people in a building wouldn’t mind sharing 150mbit/s.
