Medical chiefs need to stop “both sides”ing this issue, because it’s clear the junior docs are keen to negotiate and the government won’t even meet them.
>> Steve Barclay, the health secretary, said there was no point sitting down for talks until the British Medical Association drops a demand for a 35 per cent pay rise. **He also fears that Acas could recommend an increase far above what the government is willing to pay**.
why would the Government want to negotiate when they can ruin the NHS by Obstruction + Omission and can then blame the Doctors + Nurses + Labour for it ?
I’m genuinely surprised that Barclay even has a job at the moment. He’s clearly in over his head, I genuinely think he’d be under qualified to run a children’s party.
I’m seriously concerned that he’s had no oversight over the years. He’s consistently demonstrates a skill gap in working in a professional adult capacity.
