  1. “Fine Gael Minister of State Colm Brophy was recently forced to apologise for using Oireachtas envelopes to send his supporters tickets for his party’s national draw.”

So as usual ass parties are at it, but the indo make the article about Sinn Fein.

This was also posted on the 3rd on December and then again today so they must be desperate for a few clicks

  2. At this stage I feel the only people outraged at Sinn Fein would be the never-shinners and everyone else will be just a little more embarrassed at FFG than they were yesterday.

  3. I’m not pro Sinn Fein at all but this seems excessively petty to be complaining about considering the health, housing and pandemic management crises we have going on

  4. This is common practise, Vincent Browne covered the sheer amount of paper used for Dail Christmas cards years ago, was astronomical.

  5. Seriously? How does that rag manage to drag an article out of one TD uses tax payers money for one possibly, slightly more personal than usual card? Maybe he should have tippexed out his wife’s name before sending.

I’ve never voted sinn fein, can’t ever see myself doing so, so I’m not defending someone I support, but this is absolutely ludicrous.

  6. Least we forget that FFFG has buckled this country and continues to give themselves pay rise after pay rise, but no, you’re right, SF using money for envelopes is the worst. I can Revolut you your 0.003c tax you paid for this back if you want

  7. The horror, how dare he do something the government does anyway. FF/FG are doing fuck all but lining their pockets but nothing gets said about those cunts

  8. Was it a taxpayer bic pen too!

Id be honest Christmas cards are a pain.
