Sir Keir Starmer calls on government to be an ‘honest broker’ to get Stormont up and running

  1. The DUP will never go back to Stormont.

If they do, they’ll collapse politically, to be replaced by an even harder line outfit.

If they don’t, they keep getting reelected and get what they want anyway – rule from London.

The GFA is dead. Brexit killed it.

  2. >calls on government to be an ‘honest

So, just at the title so far, and it’s already obviously not going to happen.

Annnnd… other than reiterating the same as the title, the rest of the article appears to be missing. If that video is the article, you might as well have put it on youtube instead of making an article.

  3. That would be difficult, no?

One side blames them for pushing a hard Brexit through without considering the effect on the Northern Irish political settlement and the Good Friday Agreement. The other side blames them for betraying them (twice) as they *wanted* a hard Brexit to undermine the political settlement and the Good Friday Agreement.

Those talks will be “interesting”, I’m sure.
