Any reason released for the guy they suspect bringing her to Poland? She looks completely different than most of People there and would certainly draw attention.
What makes police think he would shoot his foot like that?
Please, post this on r/Europe and r/Polska ! There are lots of foreigners on this sub, along with people who do not live in Poland anymore. You can post on r/Polska in English on special occasions, and I would argue this is one of those!
Turns out it is not always safe to travel to Poland…
