Found in my ma’s attic and brought back some memories with a risk of a nuclear incident in Sellafield. Weird times… anyone else have these around at all?

Well the purpose of the tablets was to raise awareness of Sellafield, the amount each household received would never have been sufficient protection in the case of an actual incident.
Sell them as 2cbs.

That’s simply not true. Switzerland issues them to people living near nuclear power plant.

Every time these kinds of posts appear, people rag on these tablets but actually know fuck all about how and why they are legitimate countermeasures. People are so misinformed about anything nuclear and think its all facing melting rays ala terminator 2, they typically end up making the same inane “jokes” about the “stupidity of the gobernment” etc etc It’s all so boring.
In the Netherlands they’re issued to people living near a nuclear power plant.
So not true.
The pills were actually an early attempt to make us all consume mind control microchips, unfortunately Sellafield didn’t go into meltdown, so we never ate them, and that’s why we’ve never given the UK 12 points in the Eurovision, true story
And how many of us have died from nuclear poisoning? I think that says it all. CASE CLOSED
I have mine still in the plastic wrapper.
I still have mine.
