Daily Mail banging on about hypocrisy. Write about what you know, I guess.
So in other words.
Founder of climate change campaign group drives modest car and buys food?
Must try harder.
Is this the DM can come up with? Suprised they thought it worth printing. ‘green issues person buys oranges’ isn’t the damning story the author seems to think it is.
I was ready to be cynical about this story (because Daily Mail), but if it’s true – there really is no excuse for buying imported Chilean grapes in April. I wouldn’t do that, and I’m just an ordinary person trying to do the right thing.
If the DM spent this much effort scrutinizing the government we’d be living in a much better country right now.
This basically just proves XRs argument. That you cant even do a weekly shop without inadvertently participating in incredibly unsustainable global systems. And we need regulation to ensure produce is sourced locally, and packaged sustainably.
I thought the Daily Mail supported Britain doing more non-EU trade?
News for you, DM: places like Chile are a long way away.
Typical dailymail dog whistle stuff. The daily mail are all about hypocrisy, wouldn’t surprise me if they’d invented it.
Big business cranking up the attacks because its hurting you’ve got to love it 🤣
