If everything that is printed in The Ditch is true. Then main stream politics and MSM need to prioritise truth over their clear dislike of the people involved. Transparency, truth and accountability is more important than wether you like or don’t like the mouths it coming from.

The attitude that’s needed to restore credibility across politics and media.
What I’m noticing about it is the general silence from most of the opposition
Would appreciate some other insight to the claims from the media also
Every time I’m reminded Ruane is a senator, I’m reminded of what a joke the Seanad is.
Ruane being very careful with her wording here.
We have on one side, The Ditch. A publication with no obvious revenue stream (so nothing to sue for) that is owned by someone with a clear and acknowledged agenda against one or both Government parties that has as it’s journalists a propagandist for Russian state media and a propagandist for Chinese state media.
On the other side we have publications like RTE, The Examiner, The Independent, the Irish Times among others who all seem cautious about reporting or covering what the Ditch is reporting.
So either the latter are all in cahoots with the Government in a massive information suppression conspiracy or what the Ditch is reporting (or how it’s reporting it) is questionable to the point that other media outlets are ignoring huge stories for no obvious reason.
I’ll let people apply their own sense of logic and come to their own conclusions.
