Real wages are wages adjusted for inflation, or, equivalently, wages in terms of the amount of goods and services that can be bought. This term is used in contrast to nominal wages or unadjusted wages.
Looks like Italy finally won’t have 90’s salaries anymore, we made it to the 80s boys!
Makes sense considering we’re the ones that had to take the hit from sanctioning Russia whilst we where recovering from the pandemic
Isn’t that cute. In Hungary the food prices went up 40% and we have an inflation rate of 20-25%
Strange. In Poland it’s about 3-4 percent i think.
Damn. Did Greece, Spain and Italy Brexit even more that the U.K.?
Shit and I thought we had it bad here 🇨🇦
That’s what inflation does. There is a cure, but it’s nasty.
I wonder how correct is this. In Poland inflation is on the higher end EU wise. You can definitely see it with cheaper products per unit like candy, soft drinks etc. stuff that was less than .50eur now is 1 eur. Things that were like 1.5eur are now 2eur. etc.
Ironically the good thing came out of it that I started cooking for myself more cause 1 average price lunch in the city gets me 3 lunches at home plus some snacks.
