I know this question sounds insane… But I love Gierkovian architecture so much, that I want to buy some land & build an inspired-styled house like this from scratch in Poland. Are there contractor companies that specialize in this kind of construction? And would the people of Poland not mind this?

  1. Hello, that would be unnacceptable – this blok is still not grey enough. Remove those red elements, then we’ll talk.

  2. Dude, you know it’s not a house? It’s huge building designed to house hundreds of people. As for the technicalities it’s made from prefab reinforced concrete elements, I’m sure they don’t make these anymore.

And yes we will be offended as hell, stop appropriating our culture xD

  3. The main question here is:
    – Is it safe to build such kind of buildings in Poland?

  4. Dude, you are so fucking high… Come back when you are sober. :////

  5. What about house inspired by Palace of Culture and Science (pałac kultury)

  6. Yes they are comanies that specialise in it, one of it is callled soviets

  7. I think you’re into r/brutalism Gierkovian architecture was just cheaply built knockoffs of proper brutalist architecture

  8. What the actual fk, I live near that building.

  9. Easy. Hire a normal developer and then fire them when the work is half done. Also no balconies or weird shapes. Only a simple rectangle.

  10. This was obviously a joke, playing off the Edwardian architecture house. Why downvote? It’s just a joke.

  11. I have an apartment in a block similar to this. You can have one to. You dont even need to build it;)
