Ah she’s beautiful! We are supplementing our garden hedgehogs with catfood, and a fox has started showing up and sharing it with them each evening. But we live in an area where there is a hunt every year and unfortunately don’t think we will be able to protect it.

Maybe look into putting some worming tablets into the food you leave out for her. Wild animals usually carry lots of parasites so you’d be doing her a favour. I’d look up online first though, not sure what dosage to give a fox.

It should be illegal to do the hunts that they do, but it shouldn’t be Illegal to kill them if you have chickens or pheasants or any type of small animals that foxes mass murder

I can’t believe that nobody has pointed out that you’re actually NOT doing a wild animal any favours by feeding it. Just goes to show how disconnected many people in Ireland have become from the idea of “wild”. Kinda sad.
