Lately I’ve been trying to research **MSc Programs in Computer Science** in Germany, and I came across two universities which I want to try my luck with.

* TUM
* RWTH Aachen

I downloaded the pdf file Aachen has on requirements and what not, and I came across this:

It states the student must show competencies in the following subjects, each subject’s credit points is displayed next to it.

Now, my issue is, I don’t know what my credit points are! I am not even sure some of the subjects existed in my BSc program!

Could you like point me in the right direction on how I can use my transcript to figure out my credit points?

**PS:** I’m from a Non-EU country.

  1. The credit points for your modules should be listed somewhere in the description of your modules. Do you have sth. like a module catalogue for each semester? If so then your credit points for each individual module are likely listed there.

  3. It’s kinda complicated. 1 ECTS IS 30 credit hours.

    You have to calculate how many credit hours x how many weeks in a semester (usually 16 or 18 weeks)

    Credit hours- classes you attended per week and how many hours you self taught.
