Yes I’d agree, but that’s in the hands of the Brits, Spanish, Danes, etc. in Ireland I’d want to make politics more transparent and having real punishment for those who ‘forget’ to inform the bodies in charge when they and family benefit
Well that’s a matter for the British People to decide to be honest. I just don’t get the whole uproar or the fascination about them here.
Leave them at it until the people of Britain decide otherwise.

Just over 100 years too late with this post.
Shinners should campaign for the South to rejoin the UK. They seem to be obsessed with it.
Given we don’t have a monarchy, I don’t care. Up to the people of the countries that do have them to decide that.
It’s these cutting edge by the minute hot takes that I come to r/ireland for. /s
Things that some Redditors assume will happen in Ireland if the Brits abolish the monarchy:
– More affordable housing
– Reduced hospital waiting times
– Railway network revitalization
– Skyscrapers
– Metrolink
– Massive forestation
– The return of Fungie
– UN headquarters relocated to Cork
