  1. Better late than never. The proposal to ban disposable vapes is a sorely needed one too. Insane the amount of e-waste generated right now.

  2. Fuck me right about time can see 12yo on our estate wandering around and smoking like steam engine. And we where complaining about cigarettes buds and now disposable vapes are everywhere plastic, battery thin foil plus paper box. Well done government feckin bunch of wankers

  3. I hope they ban them from indoor use too. The amount of times I’ve wanted to throw up from people using them on buses..

  4. Let me get this straight. Children can buy vapes? Vapes that are in the same category as cigarettes, cigars. Any time they want??

But an adult can’t buy non alcoholic beer before 12 oclock in the day. And when you can buy it, it’s taxed the same as an alcoholic beer.

  5. I agree with the idea of the law but I was addicted to cigarettes at 14 and we don’t ban nicotine patches for kids

  6. It’ll make little to no difference. It’ll just make it an offense but you already have an island full of nicotine addicted kids since they let this run wild for so long. The kids will find a way, they’ll steal or get a mate to buy it for them.

  7. This…. This is a fucking joke 🤦‍♂️ how the fuck is it legal currently to sell tobacco products to children? What the fuck is wrong with people actually doing it? Gotta make that quick euro I suppose 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  8. I’m really shocked that they left this loophole open for so long. It’s probably too late now. You’ve a whole generation of under age vapers who are going to find it very hard to stop.

  9. All the disposables need to be banned altogether, not just for children. Towns are swimming in disposables being fucked all over the place, particularly after big nights out.

  10. I really hope they haven’t written this with another huge gaping loophole in it that allow cigarette companies sell nicotine inhalers that taste like blueberries or nicotine jelly babies marketed directly at children or whatever.

  11. It’s crazy that it’s not already a law and that shops like Dealz that sell them should be regulated like any other place that sells prohibited items. The amount of rubbish around my town attributed to vapes and associated products is insane which, whilst I don’t want to assume but believe is associated to the underage use of such products (a lot of it would be within close proximity of the local secondary school)

  12. Is this not already a law in place?

Like I see tons of signage in shops and stuff. Have to say I don’t really see kids vaping although seems to be a claim it’s a widespread problem. Not sure how they get them although maybe online or something ?

Any vape shop I’ve been to seem pretty responsible and I never see kids in them let alone buying stuff

  13. Christ I assumed it was illegal. Thought all the twelve year old I saw were getting them from dealers.
