Remerschen lakes (ponds?) are open to public as well, but I doubt anybody will dive in until June.
In Luxemboring you can not do stuff that require you to feel excited 😆 . Things and people need to remain as boring as can be for we to collectively be bored and eventually be depressed… the government will throw us some bones and free transportation to remain “who we are and keep being the luxemboring people we want to be.
Side note: i am moving out of here next month 🤪
As someone who lives close to echternach I don’t feel comfortable swimming there even if I would get told that it’s safe, I just can’t. I would still go to the stausee or the baggerweiher.
Not yet – season start for Echternach is at the end of May (as opposed for the other swimming places).
I’d suggest waiting a little longer – in particular those who have witnessed the Great Death of Carps in the Echternach lake last year may prefer to use some very brave swimmers as test group just in case.
From what I’ve seen of that lake… I wouldn’t.
if you enjoy muddy water then it’s perfect
Why there is a specific season for swimming? Why can’t someone swim there in March for example? Strange.
