I will have around 4.5 days alone in Norway (early july) and am planning to do an overnight guided Trolltunga hike, any tips for the best/fastest option to do this (public transport), accommodation options and what else I can do with the rest of my time here?

This is a rough plan, will be very grateful for suggestions, thank you!

Day 1: fly into bergen from london, travel to odda and stay the night

Day 2: shuttle bus to trolltunga + hike

Day 3: finish trolltunga hike around 1-2pm, head towards voss and stay the night

Day 4: half day in voss + travel back to bergen

Day 5: morning flight back to london from bergen

Alternatively, it might be easier and cheaper to fly into stavanger and do 2 shorter hikes ([Preikestolen & Kjerag](https://gofjords.com/experiences/norway/stavanger/preikestolen-kjerag-combination.649?startDate=2023-07-04&version=85&adults-0=1&childrenAges-0=)) via gofjords instead of trolltunga

  1. Have you been to Bergen before? If not I would skip that half day in Voss and spend it in Bergen instead

  2. I work in tourism and I am very curious to know how do you travel between Odda and Voss renting a car you will be too tired to drive yourself. Have you got your domestic airfares.
Hiking takes time even if you are well fit to the walk. Like Trolltunga is about 7km up and down. Very difficult terrain and hopefully in July the most expensive and crowded month you have rented your equipment to camping and spend the night. It is forbidden to occupy the few cabins reserved to a case of urgency. There are feel agencies with guides and equipment but it is a bit expensive in July.
Kjerag is about 3-4 hours drive because busses are pretty rare between Preikstone, hiking it can take more than a day.
Please, check the transports as hitchhike in Norway is very difficult task. Good luck!
