I’m going to visit Poland and take the train there. On the website, looking at tariffs, I came across this here: “100% relief for anti-communist opposition”, is this for the people who were under USSR repression in the past? Just out of curiosity.

  1. Essentially it’s for people who took part in activity against the communist government.

  2. Yes. Some people who were persecuted during PRL for their anti-communist stand, get a special ID that entitles them to certain perks, like free public transportation, pension etc. They are treated like veterans of combat, and handled by our equivalent of VA.

    This relief is for all the heroic businessmen who have to raise all of their staff’s salary every year they change the minimal wage.
