Why are Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland always at the top of this kind of ranking?
Nice! Hungary number 1!!! (In the EU).
Job well done.
Yeah… no real measured thing, only perception.
*perception of* corruption index
Lmao “perception”
51? We passed!1!1!
At least Romania beats Moldova in this one
I doubt that its true. I suppose to believe in Norway is low corruption ? Are politics there love less money then politics in east countries? i doubt. And Italy politics are less corrupted then polish i believe that are equal.
Should have added “Perception” in the title
And for the bitter, here’s **Transparency International**:
Latest trend from our corrupt politicians is that once they are sentenced to prison for corruption they flee to other EU countries like Greece, Italy or France where they get asylum. So I’m a bit skeptical of some of the rankings here.
errrr perception shmerception – i moved out of bosnia and herzegovina because i was the only person i ever knew that did not ever bribe anyone. perceived corruption might be a good way of looking at this, especially if the question is “did you bribe anyone for anything within the last year”
That cannot possibly be true for Ireland, here we’ve had corruption the likes of which would make even Berlusconi blush
Oh yeah, looking immediately at the bottom of the list to find my country was always an easy job.
Italy has such an high score just because they bribed the one analysing the results of the survey.
Finland is going to drop down when far-right, creationists, and neo-liberals start making terrible decisions.
Belgians are stupid. How can we thinck we are that high ? Scandals are happening super often -_-
Even the carcass of Turkey is not last, this gives me hope
Coruption is not good?
W8, Ukraine is the second lowest next to Russia?
It was told by some european clown politician, that they are some democratic model state. Im confused now.
Can’t be Ukraine is Not corrupt at all. I have heard interview of Mr Selensky and he said he cleared all corruption.
As a dane I believe they are missing the Bertelsen effect from that grade.
Also maybe that guy in prison that our secret service sort of washed their hands off, so now he is some kind of terrorist apparently. He was working for them.
Im a bit icked out by these things.
But maybe they dont count.
Also an index for countries most targeted by Russian intelligence services (who buy influential people)
There are 3 Balkan countries in the top 5 most corrupt 💪💪💪.
Haha, lack of corruption goes brrrr!
Sending billions of dollars to Ukraine makes sense now in light of the amount of corruption there, easy to launder those dollars.
Fuck you Denmark!
Boys, let’s Finnish this.
Congratulations to Bulgaria and Romania for the good progress!😉
The Netherlands rejecting Bulgaria to join Shengen because of corruption. Is this hypocrisy now.
France got 1 more point ?! Since 2022 we had lot of news about gouvernment fraud. People don’t read news or what ?
Hang in there
I was looking for canada then released im in r/europe
This is the perfect example of trying to mislead people on the internet. Disinformation, if you will.
The title and the following data might lead you to think that according to data, Denmark is all of the sudden hugely corrupt, and Russia is the “cleanest” when it comes to corruption.
We are not given a source, or an explanation of what’s been measured, and most importantly, if a greater number means more or less corruption.
In addition to the fact that it should be mentioned that these are perceptions, another problem is that corruption is so broad and the line between what is corrupt and isn’t is often very fuzzy. For example both a government giving contracts to companies owned by their mates and getting a substandard result or paying far above the odds is corruption, but so is getting caught speeding and offering a bribe for the officer to look the other way, and is paying extra to get an administrative process done quicker corruption? Depends on the exact circumstance and who you ask
No sé de donde ha salido esto pero me parece inverosímil . Ni España ni las repúblicas bálticas pueden estar tan arriba.
Poland: not great, not terrible!
Turkey almost number öne 🤙🏿
Netherlands basically on Italy’s level.
the bottom is expected as always, kinda sad ngl i live in 2th most corrupt country in europe
fun fact – my mom told me she paid a doctor that she researched was one of the better ones in the area to not be on holiday the day i was going to be born, as she was (understandably) very stressed out by the idea of giving birth (im her 1st child)
so while i’m confident even if another doctor delivered me, nothing would’ve happened, there is like 0.01% chance corruption saved my life

So here is my progression. Moved from 39 to 46, to 80, to 82. The progression from 39 to 46 allowed me to finally grow without major impediments. It is supprosing how major of a difference those 7 points made. The next jump meant a significant jump in wealth and lower anxiety about the future. The next 2 points just improved wealth.
