This is absolutely needed. Apart from not allowing the Chinese to participate, they should also not allow any publicly funded research to be manufactured in China. Friendshoring is the way forwards for a prosperous continent built on r&d and innovation.

Isn’t it funny how a professional and experienced civil civil service organization like the EU can be compassionate. Helpful understanding and diplomatic whereas the UK with its inbred political system and poor civil service organization relies on blame, accusation and corruption. It’s a wonder that EU want anything to do with us at all
