I’ve been told I should match the trousers for my groomsmen, does anyone know of any companies that rent out this colour? Any ideas of other suit colours for groomsmen also welcome.

Cheers.

  1. The blazer is a bad fit, trousers not great and the shoes jar with everything. Also, when you take the blazer off, you’re gonna look very washed out with very black feet.

I’d seriously rethink the outfit if I were you.

  2. It all looks at least one size too small. And (at best) ‘smart casual’. Unless your partner is also going super-casual, your outfit is going to look really out of place.

  3. With all due respect this is a bad style for a wedding. Looks like your farmer going to a farming related event

  4. You’re getting married in that? Sorry, but it looks like you let a toddler pick out your outfit or you just grabbed the first things you put your hand on out of a much smaller guy’s wardrobe. Either have pants and a jacket that match (and fit properly), or get a colour combination that actually looks nice.

Cream and sage are fine together *in a kitchen*, not on a groom when he’s getting married. A very nice combination is cream pants with a navy jacket and *brown* shoes.

  5. The bridesmaids don’t match the bride; the groomsmen don’t have to match the groom. I would just put them in a very light grey or something like that.

I’m sorry nobody seems to like your outfit; It’s rare to see a groom stand out, but it’s his wedding day too, so why not. I would go with a lighter shoe though!

  6. Try Freddie Hatchet on the Albertbridge Road, got the wedding suit there, were really helpful and had loads of options

  7. You need get yourself measured, both the Jacket & trousers are too tight, or are you trying save money by buying clothes from the childrens section of the store.

  8. What shop is fitting ye? This suit does not fit the person wearing it. Pants are too small around the thigh/crotch. Jacket is too short and too small. Wedding photographers will ask bridal parties to button their jackets. From this pic, this person cannot. Shirt looks alright, but cuff should be showing slightly below jacket cuff. Tie is nice but good god tie sort the length and knot.

For a summer wedding it’s a nice look.

  9. Can’t believe how rude everyone’s being about you not wearing the standard black/navy suit 😂 as long as this will be tailored correctly, it’s lovely. I’d go with all sand (same colour as your trousers) for the groomsmen, and match the ties. Coordinated, but not too matchy matchy.

  10. I’m no style icon, but this honestly does you no favours. It’s a bad colour combination and bad fit.

I went to a number of places last years trying on rental suits. They were only marginally cheaper than buying, were universally low quality, and didn’t fit well. In the end the groom bought us suits in Next (or M&S, I can’t remember). Loads of variation available (ie 42 Jacket, but came in short, medium and long, etc).
