Golliwogs are controversial? Some people have too much time on their hands.
Wow. What a surprise. Racist who does a racist thing to aggravate the local community receives backlash. It’s almost like these laws against people displaying hateful material serve a function of preventing further crimes and local unrest.
And yet I’m some people on this sub will come up with excuses for this massive racist like he did nothing wrong.
So long as we all focus on the old fashioned toys and not the landlord’s membership of a dodgy right wing group.
Ok guys?
It’s not graffiti, it’s an artefact of cultural heritage.
Not unexpected and caused by the Police, in my opinion, making a big scene and crying racism. I’m not at all surprised that some “activist” has used it as an excuse for vandalism. Had it been handled quietly and sensibly, this probably wouldn’t have happened.

The dolls have served their purpose which was to provoke a reaction .
Always nice to see a bit of community justice when nothing else seems to make a difference
I’m not a vandal, in fact some of my best friends are vandalees. I keep this half-brick with me for sentimental reasons as I had one when I was a kid back in the 1970s. We used to burn down pubs back then and it was seen as a bit of harmless fun. You can’t even say you’re white these days without getting arrested.
