The current process isn’t too bad either, btw. You basically “apply” for a tourist e-Visa on a government website and pick it up at a number of compatible land/air border crossings
The difference with other e-Visa schemes is in how fast Vietnam approves them; often no more than 3~4 hours after submission
Of course, being Visa-free is even more convenient and this leaves Laos as the only Southeast Asian country with *some* Visa procedure for Luxembourgish nationals
That’s good, Italian passport holders have already this exemption
