Fantastic pic, and any post quoting Sagan gets an upvote, *This Demon Haunted World* should be required reading globally
โTwo possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.โ

โWe Are All In The Gutter But Some Of Us Are Looking At The Starsโ
Great pic.
Great shot Anthony.
There are as many stars in the galaxy as grains of sand on all beaches on the earth. There are as many galaxies in the universe as grains of sand on all the beaches on the earth. It is remarkably egotistical of us to think we are the only intelligent life among all those grains. But now that same scale works against us. The likelihood of us detecting, let alone meeting, (let alone being abducted by) aliens is akin to the chance that in the next hour a bactaria on a grain of sand in Tramore will meet a bactaria currently on a grain of sand on Bondi beach.
I, for one, hope we get to meet the Turians in my lifetime ๐
What is the Sky Train?!?!
“A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with four hundred billion suns
The rising of the Milky Way”
[Still an amazing track.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSgiXGELjbc)
I just finished reading Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary. Makes you wonder what is out there and what would need to happen in the galaxy for two life forms to ever meet each other.
Edit… And I love your photo.
