Sunny day and light traffic. WCGW?

  1. I just noticed the unknown artefact in the middle is not aligned to the very center point. Can’t unsee now

  2. We can now see that the sculpture is just rust… it was kind of ok at the start (I know it’s art, just not my taste)
Now it really looks horrible (from afar and close)

  3. All the negatives aside (monument not centered, muddy roundabout etc) can‘t we enjoy that the place has low traffic and that the sun is shining? Whenever I was there (except for Augusts) I always had insane traffic…

  4. Dear OP. I just realised that Serra’s sculpture looks very much like a Solar Watch, on a sunny day like today. I don’t think it served that purpose, too. It would be fun that when you post your next pictures and we see a clear shade, you also post the exact times you took the pic. So that we can associate the shade of the sculpture to a specific time and a reference spot on the roundabout. Knowing where the shade falls at 3, 6, 9, and 12 would be sufficient to have a complete clock. Maybe one day Ville the Luxembourg could mark those spots, or to go even crazier: we, as a sub, could once organise to mark those spots ourselves and then celebrate with a few drinks…I’m rambling and making it up as I write, but seemed a fun idea. Anyhow, if you don’t mind, I’d appreciate it if you posted the time. Thanks in advance dude
