1. He accepted the opinion of the developers unnamed consultant that planning was not required knowing that Kildare County Council had issued a cease and desist notice on the developers from carrying out work on the site.
   I’m assuming incompetence but equally could be bribery.

2. You need council permission to fell trees in the curtilage of a listed building.

   So either Kildare CoCo actually approved this or the builders decided on this themselves and could be facing some heat over it.

3. lol Kildare cc, don’t they realise no one is allowed to object?
