If you’re visiting or live here and haven’t heard about this and you’re into mostly guitar music – then I really suggest going down to St Thomas Bay in Marsascala for the weekend – the best of underground and semi-underground local bands (My personal favourites are Beangrowers, BNI, Bila, Brodu and Shostakovich’s Nightmare (and Beheaded if you’re so inclined – they are awesome live). Here’s a good playlist of the bands. The venue is awesome and the festival (it’s 10th edition) has always been wonderfully organised.
Also some shameless self-promotion – my band is also playing (early on Saturday) – Edgar Allan Paul – and we claim and believe we are possibly the best Italian language band in Malta 🤌.
