Romanian economy, 2023. How did we manage to have such a huge growth ?

  1. Investments duh. One of the big advantages of European union membership. Look around you. All big investment projects have EU FUNDS signed on them, boosting our economy and helping us catch up to the rest.

We even developed a healthy middle class in the last decade.

We are growing rapidly in many statistics, but the pessimism clouds the population’s eyes.

  2. Romania seemed to have a lot of projects planned or already started when I was there for 3 months last year

  3. Catchup effect and FDI can accelerate growth a lot. And I am not saying that Romania wouldn’t have growth without those, they just make it happen faster.

  4. Last 2 years Hungary remained stagnant ish (18.7k to 19.3k), while Romania went from 14.5k to 18.5k. In the next year(s) it could surpass Hungary. Comparisons aside I’m rooting for both and congratulations on Romania on its rapid growth.

  5. Convergence and EU investments.

It’s not unheard of for less developed countries to expand their economies at a rapid pace once they get the ball rolling then slow down.

  6. I want to ask users from Romania – are there any signs of preparation for unification with Moldova in the country? And how do the Romanian citizens themselves feel about this issue?

  7. Amazing Growth.

This is what makes apart Romania/Poland from Germany. Germany had a comfortable wealth from the industry sector. Now this countries will simply capitalize on the IT industry, and you can clearly see that these countries have almost par salaries with the rest (and much lower tax rates)

  8. WE have a PROPAGANDA PIX in charge of this numbers!!! Next year will be an electoral one so the situation must be pink in the eyes of the many.

The country lives by DEBT and propaganda (pls see who runs it (PCR) ).
