  1. What do they protest against exactly? I know it’s about the monarchy but what’s bad about it? I’m not saying the monarchy is good either since I don’t actually know much about it but it’s not like the king was a dictator or anything like that. So what’s the reason for the protesting?

    Edit: Vote me to oblivion if it makes you feel better but I was just asking a question to learn about something. Neither defending nor opposing the monarchy.

  2. I would be interested to see how busy the demo really is (I think the RF is a bit of an anachronism myself) but this photo looks dodgy af. I’m talking about the tricks people use such as long lens and background compression to get their photos to covey a certain narrative. If it’s legit and there really was a massive demo then that could open things up for a proper debate.

  4. Britain is lucky that the monarchy is currently diverting the world’s eyes away from the clusterfuck that is their actual elected government.
