No tolerance for drugs at the Heineken Kinsale Rugby Sevens
As long as they stick to the booze I’m sure there will be no public order offences or fights.
Next weekend you can work away on the aul cocaine
That includes alcohol too right?
>Overwhelmingly, those arrested were in their 20s and 30s, male, university educated and, in almost all cases, in well paid white-collar jobs… The majority of those who received convictions subsequently had them overturned on appeal to the Circuit Court, a total of 12 alone being successfully appealed in March 2020.
Ultimately, if you’re a young professional who can afford representation then you’ve a good chance of getting away with it.
People who just get absolutely blasted on drugs are always the worst craic. I’ve actually stopped going to festivals because it’s just days on end of people living out the last days of Sodom and I hate how celebrated it is among grown adults.
I think that will be a problem with a lot of people. Beer is to rugby as betting is to horse racing.
“We’re not getting sponsored by the Cocaine sector so we’ll have none of that here please.”
*”Damn it if only there was a way to take drugs while no one is looking, they have me duped”*
One day drug prohibition wll be looked back on the same way we look back on alcohol prohibition, condoms being illegal, etc. Hopefully in my lifetime, likely not but hopefully. But it will happen.
And I say that as someone who for a few reasons doesn’t and likely never will take recreational drugs apart from the very occasional spliff. It’s the principle I take issue with. This world absolutely sucks and whatever people need to take to get themselves through it should be 100% their body, their rules.
So I can leave my big holdall at home or leave it on the Ferry 😕
Drug test your fucking players and watch how many use drugs. Drug test your politicians and gardaí. Drug test everyone coming into Dublin Tuesday morning.
No instead we will demonize. Instead we will discriminate. Instead of real constructive education lead discussion we will criminalise and torture hard working people.
This opinion is out dated and stagnating. People need to wake the fuck up and catch up. There’s nothing humane about how we treat anything drug related.
The only ones ruining lives is the government by keeping these stupid laws in place and turning hard working innocent people into cash cows and ruining their chances to work and make lives for themselves.
Maybe cop the fuck on and deal with the real issues.
No banger but like gois the horseplay is totally legendary
The only way to get a handle on drugs is to legalise them. Everything has so far failed. The Crim’s have won unfortunately.
