  1. This map is misleading. Y-DNA is a very small part of DNA, is only inherited from father to son and does not mix. Only autosomal DNA can show actual genetic clusters

  2. YDNA haplo is a very small part of ur dna

Anyhow, here’s MyHeritageDNA’s list of countries with the highest “Greek and Southern Italian” DNA:

    Greece 89%, Albania 84%, NMacedonia 81%, Cyprus 69%, Bulgaria 65%, Italy 57%

For Cyprus in general our main components are: Greece and Southern Italian 69%, Middle Eastern 60%, West Asian 60%, Italian 51%.

These are obv not meant to add up to 100.

For anyone who’s curious here’s Greece and Turkeys breakdowns.

    Greece: G and S Italian 89%, W Asian 37.8%, Balkan 35.4%, Italian 33.8%

    Turkey: W Asian 81.7%, Central Asian 32%, Middle Eastern 28.4%, Βalkan 22.7%, Italian 22%

  3. This is just a haplogroup, only the one you got from your mother, and it shows the most common one, it does not entitle the whole of these communities to be same.

That being said, my haplogroup is in need J2 lol. And yes it does bring an insight. It is mostly used to track migrations and origins of old people, such as finding Slavic haplogroups both in Eastern Europe and Balkans at same time for example. But it is not something that affects your physical look or something as far as I know.
