Once you brought it up… There are actually suprisingly many ostrich farms in Slovenia.
I’m assuming you saw Nani, which is a Rhea, not an ostrich. The video doesn’t work, so can’t confirm.
The owner of Nani is Janez Cetin, who did have an ostrich named Francelj, but the latter died in 2021.
You are pretty lucky that you were in the right place at the right time to see the ostrich guy. I’ve never seen him so far.
No it’s not. I live in countryside, but I’ve never seen an Ostrich in my life exept in the ZOO.
Yeah, its pretty common. I have three and we just came home from our walk. It is considered weird not having an ostrich.
