I had measles as a kid, despite being vaccinated. Luckily that meant I had a day or so of feeling awful and then a week isolating at home watching DVDs. For a while after I felt I was a little more sensitive to light but nothing serious. Very grateful.
Government should never have lied about the covid shots. Now parents (rightly) worry if the other ones are safe and tested.
Roald Dahl’s daughter died of measles. I think all anti vaxxers need to read his words:

In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead.
The measles had turned into a terrible thing called measles encephalitis and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. That was twenty-four years ago in 1962, but even now, if a child with measles happens to develop the same deadly reaction from measles as Olivia did, there would still be nothing the doctors could do to help her.
On the other hand, there is today something that parents can do to make sure that this sort of tragedy does not happen to a child of theirs. They can insist that their child is immunised against measles. I was unable to do that for Olivia in 1962 because in those days a reliable measles vaccine had not been discovered. Today a good and safe vaccine is available to every family and all you have to do is to ask your doctor to administer it.”
Vaccinate your children.
This is what happens when people don’t get vaccinated. The anti vaxxers are having a negative effect on health across the UK. Kids should be at school, not off for weeks with a horrible illness.
Vaccinate your kids or you will be to blame when they suffer or even die from preventable illness.
My baby caught measles on a plane because some idiot took their kid with measles on a plane. She was completely covered in spots and obviously contagious.
As a parent you would feel awful if you were foolish enough to push your anti-vax ideology onto your kids, and then your child catches and perils to a disease that can be vaccinated.
