He only stabbed them, had he tried to sell them some coins he found the sentence would be much harsher.
Am I going crazy? Stab two people and get a suspended sentence, beat a police officer and a ASDA worker and get community service, beat a police officer and get a suspended sentence… But try to sell some coins and jail for 5-10 years…
Is it any wonder this country is going to shit when judges are not putting people behind bars for a serious offence
If crime goes unpunished then how the hell are we supposed to feel safe. Imagine being those people who got stabbed and the guy walks free. Might as well start robbing people since it’s basically legal now
I think the fact that he was charged with attempted murder and GBH with intent, but a guilty plea for possession of an offensive weapon was eventually accepted, suggests a lot more to this story than has been reported.
