  1. Why do these activists always target priceless public architecture and art? If they really want to prove something they should try defacing the PM’s house or something. Oh wait, they wouldn’t just get away with a slap on the wrist in that case would they? “We want change, but not that badly”

  2. >“As I have explained many times, these are acts against the environment which they claim to want to defend because the notion of landscape includes what beautiful things over centuries of history human genius has produced,” he added.

Calm down, it’s a water fountain.

    >A few weeks after the unveiling, the fountain was damaged on 19 February 2015 by a group of Dutch football hooligans, who were in Rome to support Rotterdam-based club Feyenoord in a Europa League match against A.S. Roma. The group, allegedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs,[3] stepped into the fountain and threw bottles and rubbish in it before clashing with the police.

Well as long as it’s Soccer Hooligans doing actual damage. Soccer is Holy.

  3. Real climate fighters are known for such bravery, destroying art is really cooling down the planet. Forget planting a tree or raising a bee, better to glue yourself on the pavement. Clowns.

  4. It got people talking about it, which was the point. There are better ways to do that, of course, but they are not simply stupid and cringe as a lot of y’all say.
