My contract will end the 31st of August and it’s unclear to me to how many vacation days I am still entitled to. In a similar situation, my last employer enabled me to take the full amount of vacation days for the year, while the current one is prorating them.
Somewhere online I read that I should be entitled to the full year amount (e.g. [here](https://howtogermany.com/jobs/rights/employees-rights/), also [this guy on reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/comments/n1qzsf/vacation_days_on_contract_end_after_30th_june/) mentions it) but I can’t find anything “official”.
Does anyone know what the law says and where to find an official source?
