Judging by the angle, I would assume the picture was taken by the driver, which is an illegal act, even in front of a red light.

At least it has a timer, would be a great feature on all traffic lights (especially in cities) as people will know when they get the green light. Similar to so bike traffic lights
As a cyclist in Antwerp, this is every light for me.
10 seconds of green and two minutes of red, classic.

We had one in Landen were it count down from 100. But for some reason. The seconds went 3 times slower. So you has to wait 5 minutes
10 points extra if you’re in a porche and start driving through that red light with 7 seconds on the counter
Daily cost for an Appelsenaar like me. I often drive around the Noordlaan to cut off the traffic.
Ik herken mijn mx-5. Stoplichten hier mijn beste vriend! Gewoon wachten en daarna keihard optrekken om daarna braaf de snelheidslimiet tot het volgende stoplicht te rijden ;).
