  1. Mind you, 5 Zł then and 5 Zł now did not have the same purchasing power.

  2. Do you know. I’ve just come back from Warsaw looking for antique maps of Warsaw. They were so expensive. I picked up one from 1934 for 70 zloty and another from 48 for 100.

  3. I had the same map in my elementary school classroom with a hole where every kid showed our home town and I bet you it is still hanging there

  4. Yeah, it did cost 5zł. And the minimal wage in Poland in 1994 was 220zł. You had to work for 7 hours to earn 5zł. Let alone in 1967

  5. Where are you from and what is the story of the map?

  6. Great map! Wouldn’t use it for learning, though as our administrative regions changed twice since then, and none of the countries bordering Poland on that map exist anymore 😀

  7. Didnt someone send it already? But in original, Polish, language?

  8. Yeah and I still have Christmas lights that costed 50.000zł

  9. Correct me if I’m round, but is this accurate? The voivodeships were different in communist times. Like this map has Podkarpackie ale w rzeczypospolitej ludowej było Rzeszowskie?

  10. Western-Pomerania and Pomerania when Central-Pomerania:
