What the fuck.. This government are becoming increasingly authoritarian, now backed by the monarchy.
Honestly fuck the monarchy. As stated by Les Miserables:
“Do you hear the people sing?” / “Singing a song of angry men” / “It’s the music of a people” / “Who’ll not be slaves again!”
Why yes, this will help persuade the people the monarchy is a modern and democratic institution
This is how you create new anti-Monarchists.
I’ve always seen the merits of a constitutional Monarchy, as do many others. But make people choose between the democratic right to protest and having a Monarch, and you won’t have a Monarchy for much longer.
CRACK DOWN on the dissidents.
Submit them. Demoralize them.
Infiltrate and disrupt them from the inside out.
Make them know that our monarchy is not up for debate. /s

It’s a terrible day for democracy in this country. It’s also pretty funny to see the people here defending a billionaire who wouldn’t give them the time of day.
The Royals are a shower of tax-dodging cunts who have always abused their access to parliament. It’s an absolute disgrace. The day that we found out about all the laws the Queen changed, it was all clear.
Anyone locking on to others, objects or buildings could go to prison for six months and face an unlimited fine.
Because this government learned nothing from the suffragette movement…
Or, rather, they did learn something, and they don’t like it.
Economic terrorism, from our leaders is ok though, joke of a nation ,, welcome to little England
> Police will be able to head off disruption by stopping and searching protesters if they suspect they are setting out to cause chaos.
This seems fine. Arbitrary detention. What could go wrong?
In many countries it was the overreaction of British authorities that led to greater resistance to British rule, great to see they’re making the same mistakes
Reedits ecochamber is hilarious. Bunch of sad keyboard activists.
This is exactly what the recent Public Order Act was intended to allow. They can’t outright ban protests and marches, but they can threaten you to try to dissuade you. Then on the day if someone so much as swears, they can treat you as “disruptive” and break you up.
Dear fellow peasants,
I think your current actions are in keeping with maintaining our cherished position. A position that demands we bow our heads and break our backs for our obvious betters.
I thank you for enabling this privileged position to serve and be subject to all kinds of wonderful laws and practices.
Yours,
A fellow subject.
Disgusting, this country is turning into North Korea. Sycophantic arse licking is going to be in overdrive by Saturday. Puke.
