Not sure it’s blood. Blood tends to have a bluer tone, BUT it could just be the photo (former ER nurse).
And on New Year’s, with my mom and little sister a one legged homeless dude fell on the tram stop before the station, cut his knee open got on the tram than collapsed on the station’s platform.
It sprayed on 3 pieces of wall up to 30 centimetres, the texture is very liquid and the color is flashy red.
It looks more like a red coloured energy drink or a tomato juice which slipped away from the hand of his owner, standing in that corner than the blood coming from a knife attack on a knee facing the wall if you want my opinion.
If the smell was closer to sweetness than organic rot, that can be another clue.
