  1. Fair fuks to him. I didn’t spot the ladder until near the end and thought it was a fukin walking frame. Ha!

  2. Brilliant, I love it. My dad is 74 and can dive off the top of BlackRock with the fucking smallest of splashes. Makes it look easy.

  3. Fair play to him

Talk about reliving your youth…. what possessed him lol

“*I only say that because of step ladder which I presume he normally doesn’t carry”*

  4. Fantastic effort!

If he does it again, he needs to tuck, both knees and arms, will increase his rotation speed

  5. I thought I’d seen this before; was about to call you a dirty reposter, but you posted it elsewhere 8 months ago.

  6. Now he’s got people on the internet who are full time fans, me included. Especially loved that you included him stumbling with the latter and having to take a normal jump haha.

  7. That is cool. Fair play to OP’s Dad.

Inspiring is a good word. I am 45 and was on holiday last year. Loads of people were jumping off a pier similar to the video. Kids as young as 10-12 and middle aged people too.

I really wanted to try it but could not work up the courage. I was thinking ‘if I was 21 and with the lads I would definitely jump…peer pressure would be too much’.

But I talked myself out of it….what if I get hurt and can’t work, what am I trying to prove, this is not the stuff of middle aged men etc.

Great to see someone not limit themselves.
