Minimalistic Map of Germany (OC)

  1. So the color changes happen at Weißwurstäquator and the old northern border of the wine growing regions respectively?

  2. I think it’s a bit misleading that the estuary of the Elbe isn’t marked as part of the river. In your map it looks as if the river starts in Hamburg and flows south.

I know it’s probably because even in large-scale maps, the estuary is drawn as if it is part of the coast, and since it has a tide it even makes sense to do it, but it’s still part of the river.

  3. Where are Weser, Fulda and Werra?

And for the Weißwurstäquator, any part of germany south of the Main and on the right side of the Rhine and somehow connected to Bavaria and not called Swabia, are electable. Left rhiners are also french, by the way.

  4. Where is the Weißwurstäquator!? Where is the iron curtain border that reveals in every vote result, poverty or tendency of self-murder map!?

  5. As someone from northern part of Baden-Württemberg I feel uncomfortable with being grouped with Bayern.

Give me Netherlands, Sweeden or Japan but no Baverya
