Hallo Austrians! Here is my little project, Country P! Feel free to correct the mistakes I made. Sorry if it’s outdated, it’s made like a month ago, and of course sorry for my handwriting, it’s very bad I know. Danke!

  1. I like that you put Lienz as the most important city in the south. 😉

    Great work. But can you please give a little background? Where are you from? Why did you choose Austria?

  2. You forgot: Slovakia, the chains on the eagle’s feet

    Lienz is far too east (not on the Autobahn, and btw not really that important to be included on the map), Salzburg is directly on the border to Germany

    26 October is NOT independence day, it’s the day, Austria committed to be neutral.

    Love Germany? Well, no.

    But great work altogether!

  3. Klagenfurt is the capital of Kärnten (Karinthia) and Eisenstadt the capital of Burgenland as well as Innsbruck of Tirol (Tyrol) and Bregenz of Vorarlberg even though Dornbirn is bigger and right next to it

  4. Nice work. Salzburg lies on the Salzach, and you forgot Slovakia in the East.

    But I attempted to draw a map for fun once and it’s surprisingly hard, so not bad.

  5. Why did you put more languages than german in the language section? We only have one official language, if you want to put ‚unofficial’ ones you need to write way more than those. So idk how you got to the ones you picked 🤔

  6. For what is is – pretty good.

    Maybe look at satelite imagery and add some more mountains. There is a lot less flat land than the drawing suggests

  7. In love with: Only Bavaria, not Germany would be more accurate (there actually quite some tensions from Austrians against Germans)

  8. * Your Lake Neusiedl doesn’t seem to reach into Hungary in the south.
    * You arbitraily cut off Lake Constance, although there are no de jure defined borders between Austria, Switzerland and Germany on the water.
    * The eagle on the coat of arms is missing its red tongue.
    * The flag isn’t in 2:3 ratio.
