Maybe they’ll try to blame this on fear of being labelled homophobic.

I heard on the radio the report said the crimes would have been taken more seriously had the victims been female. Not to mention the UK’s most prolific rapist targeted men. So much for that male privilege we keep hearing about.
There was someone who had posted a comment a few years back about how they were visiting London from the States, had met up through Grindr with a guy, he took him to someone else’s flat, had done some GHB together then woke up and the situation got even more weird.
People had replied that he had pretty much escaped Stephen Port and should contact the detectives invoked in the case (iirc, one of them actually posted a comment to contact them).
I’ve done a cursory search for the comment because some of the details were just really weird that it suggested someone else was involved but until my memory is refreshed, it’s a bit hazy from the horror I felt at the time.
As for the police actions, they’ve just recently had 2 officers convicted for taking photos of the sisters who were murdered and they’ve a long history of fucking up cases and covering up corruption so this news comes as no surprise.

Probably?
Unquestionably.
Inexcusably.
Disgustingly.
Unsurprisingly…
I don’t know how they could possibly have bungled this so badly.
This case was /is so shocking. Utter utter incompetence. The police are just thick
