The same plate was on the bike path going the other side this morning. So caption/title is incorrect, more likely they’ll be working on it. Going from town to Brusselpoort had a omleiding.

There is no bike path.
I don’t know who is in charge of mobility in Mechelen but the last year or so has just been a series of own goals.
Traffic just gets progressively worse with each change they make

Dumb AF because the actual road in the other direction is terribly bumpy and awful to ride on

Tell me smartypants, do you really think they don’t know people can still pass? It reduces the number drastically and that’s the goal. Will there still be some cool rebels that still use it? Of course but its not their goal to eliminate it completely with that sign.
