The Schengen area, while providing so many benefits, is basically a drug trafficker’s playground.
Finally, we became a central power using our geographic location.
Ah yes, the modern “silk” road…
Nah, it’s just cheese, don’t worry about it.

Turkey is a narco state in addition to being a hub and facilitator in human trafficking, illegal UN violating weapons sales and stolen gas from Syria and Iraq. Its a large part of how the Turkish state funds itself. And the U.S/EU look the other way and pretend they don’t see any of it because something something nato.
Frontex is right there, they should check them then
Or legalize weed, cocaine use will go down and it should since you can overdose
They don’t use Cocaine in Africa
The only ones who profit from the Prohibition of drugs, are organized criminal groups. It damages the Police, the healthcare system, the tax payer and the society as a hole, but mostly the consumers.
If it is illegal, you cannot regulate it, which means kids can buy it and the stuff itself is dirty or falsely labeled and therefore unnecessarily dangerous. Due to the illegality, tens of thousands of people, loose their jobs and the prisons are so full, they’re almost bursting. The costs of this, are in the ten-billion range, money that could be way better spend on a functioning healthcare system, a proper support system for those who get addicted, better schools and so on.
I don’t get, how those “conservatives” don’t realize this. I mean, drugs where prohibited in the beginning of the 70’s, so we have about 50 years of prohibition going on. Had there been a moment in these 50 years, where it seemed like the prohibition would bring the effect it was supposed to bring? No. Every year, they complain about “the drug problem” getting worse and worse, so they make the punishments harder and harder and then the circle beginns anew. So yeah, prohibition is useless and only damages more, without fixing anything.
Well, at least if the wanted effect was to protect the society from damages caused by drugs. If the actual purpose would have been creating an easy excuse for having a tool, to oppress minorities and the human rights movement easily and without the resistance of the major public, it was a full scale victory. Oh wait, [it was](https://www.vera.org/reimagining-prison-webumentary/the-past-is-never-dead/drug-war-confessional)
Guess who s ships are allegedly transporting coke to Turkey before shipping it to the rest……… Erdogan s ships.
Considering it’s physical position on planet Earth, it’s hard to not be.
Don’t give my government any ideas to continue vetoing entrance to Schengen for both Bulgaria and Romania.
More like in asia with a toe in europe.
Those Turkish airlines flights opening to Venezuela when no one actually wants to travel between both countries 💀
How is this useful?
It’s basically saying the drugs are shipped from major air and sea port in South America and received at major air and sea ports in Turkey. Then the drugs travel by land to neighboring regions.
Is this not how EVERYTHING is transported?!?!?
Absolutely amazed people risk taking any sort of drug in Dubai, Qatar etc.
Anyone who lives there know how common it is for people to take it?

prime real estate, son!
How exactly is it trafficked through Armenia with a border that’s been closed since 1921?
OK. So if the routes are known just stop these! I mean even reddit users know now the exact routes. Right? 🙂
Tbh Turkey was always more or less a roadway for transportations of illegal substances
