  8. Of course the EU has done more than China. Europe has outsourced each and every job overseas.

    Now everything is produced in polluting factories in foreign countries (which happen to have shitty working conditions) and it is shipped into the walled garden in huge dirty ships

  9. Exactly the problem with democratic politics, tactical gains cloud the strategic perspective. Not advocating against democracy, but our elected representatives should know better.

  13. So tired of theses fake titles that always take half sentence to make it sound the opposite of the real argument, just to make audience.

    It sould be illegal for known media to do that.

  15. Kinda not surprised, that’s the type of thing Macron would say, he isn’t really wrong here, but other countries should reduce instead of EU doing regulatory pause.

  16. He has a point. Current ecological campaign is hardly sustainable if we’re the only ones doing it, and yet we need to do a lot more.

    But before we go for more stuff, we must ensure that we’re being followed by other continents, or otherwise what we’re going to is handicap ourselves, and also earth is going to be fucked anyways.

  18. I really empathize with the point Macron makes here, but when humanity as a whole isn’t doing enough and pointing to your neighbors and using them as the bar to hold yourself to just seems like a race to the bottom.
