As an autistic, I always had such a problem with school textbooks that the characters from the covers always looked at me like that and I was uncomfortable.
She’s thinking “this picture for the textbook will be the starting point of my modelling career”
He’s thinking “why on earth have I ever agreed to this bullshit, they’re not even paying me”
And that’s not even a Polish textbook.
But indeed, textbooks used in foreign language classes are famous for their cheesy, dull content, and learning languages at schools was no fun at all, just an unpleasant duty. Something definitely needs to change – and not only in Poland.
