Interesting that I haven’t seen anyone talking about the police brutality. Beating of two men (https://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/i/nQOJXx/politibetjent-tiltalt-for-vold-slo-loes-med-knyttnever-og-batong) on this subreddit.
Only fine 12k NOK for deleting evidence (https://direkte.vg.no/nyhetsdognet/news/godtar-bot-for-videosletting-i-kongsberg-saken.9STZLl6ef?utm_source=share-btn).
Well less common in Norway, it happens all over the world!

On r/Norge, the main Norwegian-language sub for Norwegians, there are several posts about this case most days. Which is understandable, of course, but it’s not like people aren’t talking about it. It has arguably been the biggest talking point among Norwegians on Reddit over the last week.
The only new thing is that the pigs now beat up “ordinary” people. It used to be that the filth would mostly go abuse people from minorities (mostly sick people with dependency issues) but now they don’t give a fuck and beat the shit out of anyone at random. If you are in Norway don’t give the popo any lip and don’t look at them wrong. Do what you are told and comply or they will put you in the hospital and charge you with assaulting an officer.
Police in Kongsberg is pretty corrupt.

I’m really curious to find out how long the police officer gets in prison.
He is not going to prison, he did not do something serious as driving a bit too quick, or use his phone while driving…
Oh trust me, its getting discussed on the native language subreddit
Well since we’re talking about violence, why has there been more than 8 stabbings in Oslo in less than a month?
