My Situation: Lost my right to social tarif in January, wasn’t notified by Eneco, up until 31 April everything on my profile, advance invoices still suggested I had social tarif.

I get my yearly invoice on the 1st of may, they charged my 0.57€/kwh from January 1st – April 31st, taking the cheapest tarifs from december while their tarif from january 1st are about half that price.
According to what I can find they should automatically give you their cheapest contract but they will find a way to give you a higher one and not inform you for as long as possible so you’ll pay way above market price until you find out.
I’m pretty sure they should also inform you when you lose your Social Tarifs but they didn’t do that either.

  1. Tbh, have a social tariff too but longer than the new law for the extra people but still scared they will also remove us from it. Like normally not because it was before but hate that you can’t check anywhere if you have a right to it after. Sigh, we will see but it will suck for sure.

    To Op you said your profile and everything but not sure how it works on Eneco but with Luminus with us there is in big letters it is a social contract was that the case for you or?
